Today like most, the CollegeKidApp team took the day off to relax and enjoy life. However our "secret" application has finally made it's way into the store. I had to read the e-mail I recieved from apple twice before I trully believed it. Finding out the application we made had finally gotten into the store and become available for million of people to purchase all over the world was one of the most exciting moments in my life. A screenshot of the iTunes page from my phone is shown above. The application is called Battery Go! and we had been working on it for over a month. Battery Go! took many hours of work with lots of tinkering (especially with it being rejected twice by Apple, BOOOOOOOOOO), but finally it is in the store for your purchasing pleasure. It is a utility application that tells the user their phone's current battery percentage and the estimated time they have remaining to make phone calls, use the internet, watch videos or listen to music. It also has a slider bar to adjust the percentage to see times for percentages of interest. Finally, tips for saving your battery life can be found if the info icon is clicked near the bottom of the page. The application can be found under utilities in the iTunes store by looking at most recent submissions or by simply searching applications for "CollegeKidApp" or "battery go!."
